Snapped this pic of a 2014 XF-RS ... 550hp and 502 #ft of supercharged car pron... makes me want an XF so much more now...
Of course I'm looking at something that's done the depreciation dance without being too old... The dealer had a few service loaner '11-'12 models and even a 13...
Initial impressions of my first time in a modern Jaaaaaaag?
It can be summed up in a single motion - 'head nod'
The interior felt very right - everything was placed quite well at first glance. The motorized vents and gear selector are just too unique to pass off as trinkets. The illumination in blue was very subtle and lent itself well to it's functions (no lights for lights sake). The interior dome/etc lighting could be changed to led for sure (that incandescent yellow is harsh after you've bathed in 5k led goodness). Plenty of trunk space, nice engine note (even from the NA V8, though as I understand now, the 5L V8 is the only Direct Injected motor of the v8 line).
I'll be back to test drive this sunday, hopefully better pics then!
